Working principles
Use the same checklist for every supplier.
- Start with the exact material. Name, grade, strength and pack should be written the same way on the specification and quotation.
- Ask which evidence is lot-linked. A representative COA and a COA for the quoted lot are different documents.
- Check the commercial chain. Compare seller name, bank beneficiary, contract and invoice. Verify any last-minute change independently.
- Do not rely on a tour for analytical results. The visit and the product test answer different questions.
- Review the destination first. Import, possession and resale rules are buyer-market questions, not website claims.
